This policy applies to the LifeVault AI mobile application, website at lifevaultai.app, APIs, cloud dashboard, document scanning, PDF tools, AI-assisted search, reminders, storage, and secure sharing features.

Guest Mode may keep selected information locally or temporarily on your device. Account Mode may synchronise supported data with LifeVault AI servers.
3. How we use information
- Provide registration, login, account recovery, and secure access.
- Store, organise, search, display, and synchronise vault content.
- Perform OCR, document categorisation, AI-assisted search, and related processing requested by you.
- Create reminders, notifications, exports, PDFs, and secure-sharing workflows.
- Prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, and maintain service reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Google Sign-In and Firebase
LifeVault AI uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. When you choose Google Sign-In, Google and Firebase may process your account email, display name, profile image, Firebase UID, authentication tokens, device information, and security signals. We use this information only to authenticate and link your LifeVault AI account.
5. Documents, OCR, and AI processing
Documents and images may be processed to extract text, create previews, classify content, enable search, or generate AI-assisted results. Processing may occur on your device, on LifeVault AI infrastructure, or through contracted service providers, depending on the feature used.
AI-generated output may contain errors and should not be treated as professional legal, financial, medical, or official advice.
6. Sharing and service providers
We may use trusted providers for hosting, storage, authentication, diagnostics, OCR, AI functions, email delivery, and security. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to complete an action you request. We do not share information for unrelated advertising purposes.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, protect users, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When you request deletion, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the account and associated user data, except limited information retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including authenticated access, encrypted network transport, access controls, and restricted service credentials. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access or correct your account information.
- Request information about processing.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Manage camera, file, and notification permissions in Android settings.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
10. Children's privacy
LifeVault AI is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact us for review and deletion.

We may update this policy when features, practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page with the updated date.
